We are particularly proud of our trail tool inventory. Over the years we have amassed a solid collection of trail tools. The tool we reach for most often in the Thunderstick manufactured by Jay Hoots. Its similar to a Macleod, but better. We use it for grubbing, digging and tamping. The other main tool we use is the Pulaski – there is a thick root mat in the Southern Canadian Rockies and often getting down to mineral soil requires the cutting power of the Pulaski. We have a big collection of shovels, rakes, sledge hammers and tampers.
