WELCOME TO THE BOW VALLEY
MOUNTAIN BIKE ALLIANCE
Trail Tools

We are particularly proud of our trail tool inventory. Over the years we have amassed a solid collection of trail tools. The tools we reach for most often for grubbing are either the Rogue Hoe, or the Thunderstick (designed by Jay Hoots). We often use a Macleod as well. all three work well for grubbing, digging and tamping. The other main tool we use is the Pulaski – there is a thick root mat in the Southern Canadian Rockies and often getting down to mineral soil requires the cutting power of the Pulaski. We have a big collection of shovels, rakes, sledge hammers, tampers, wheelbarrows and large folding saws.

We have alot of people to thank for these tools - we use your donations to purchase tools - thank you!!
